Stopped, just to find rest area. Found a gem of a rest area. Lovely setting, historic house and stable. Really clean restrooms. Kind staff and gift shop, left a donation. Stretch your legs, worth the stop.
We absolutely loved this stop. So glad we saw it from the interstate. A true gem. Gordon was such a kind man and I wish I would've gotten the name of the lovely lady we had such a great chat with. You could visit this museum four or five times and not see it all. Well worth the stop just for a chat with the staff alone!!!
Truly a musical gem of Kentucky history. Well worth stopping by for a tour and visit. So many music stars from all genres originate from the Bluegrass state.

It's interesting to see how many music artists came from Kentucky. Plus the history of country bluegrass was fascinating and educational. The gift shop was pretty nice too.
